Panoramas na h-Alba
I’m new to photographing panoramas, but after having jealously admired some well done pieces, I decided to try and develop my skills in this way as well. As such, I experienced quite a few pitfalls that ruined a lot of my shots, which I only found out while stitching and post processing. Nonetheless, I have a few shots to share. :-)
Scotland, baby! :-)
…or how we discovered the land of whisky, castles, kilts, lochs, bagpipes, and haggis! Edinburgh, Pitlochry, St. Andrews, Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan, Fort William, Glenfinnan, Mallaig with its ferries and faeries, Quiraing landslip and its dramatic views, Uig, the gateway to the Outer isles, overall it was a spectacularly awesome trip. And it feels like we only brushed the surface – I’m definitely going to go back to Scotland sometime. Hopefully not too far from now. :-) Oh, and very special thanks to Peťa, who let us sleep at her place in Edinburgh. :-)
Strasbourging!
Last year, when the Rock’n'roll train went to Paris, it stopped in Strasbourg for a day, on its way back. Choice of the place was no accident, as Ľubo has been working there for quite a few years already. I only have a few shots, cause we didn’t spend too much time over there, and most of it was rainy, anyway. And they’re painfully late. :-) Nonetheless, it should translate a little of the lovely spirit of this city.
The Firenze day
Last December in Bologna, a decision was made to make a trip someplace nice. Thanks to unbelievable concentration of beauty in that region, there was a bunch of possibilities to consider. And Florence won. :-) Flooding this place with Italy is no coincidence, recently I’ve fallen in love with the country and visited it three times over three months. And maybe, there’s more to come…
A Roman Adventure
For a long time I wanted to visit this city, and yet every time an opportunity presented itself, I had to refuse. It just so happened that when the question of where to go for the next trip was risen, the answer was an unequivocal “Let’s go see Rome.”
